Why should I feel discouraged

Why should the shadows come

Why should my heart feel lonely

And long for Heavenly home

When Jesus is my portion

My constant friend is He

His eyes is on the both sparrow

And I know He is watchin' me

His eye is on the sparrow

And I know He's watchin' me

I sing because my soul is a happy

I sing because I'm free

For His eye it is on the sparrow

And I know He's watching me
