A boy spends all his life

Four long days and nights
Trekking through trouble and ice
To a city of such size
At sundown he finally arrives
And no-one has his back
He barely has his own
And there's no going back
Lost and away from his home
He crosses her path

It seemed a perfect match
The next five months weren't alone
She cant get too attached
She knows one day she must go
She knows nothing lasts
It's all that she's ever known
He knew his feelings were real
He knew that she was his light
She knew that she wouldn't heal
Was only a matter of time
Suddenly time stood still
He told her how he felt inside
She knew that it wasn't right
