You asked if I had to die
If I had just a year
How would I spend my time
I didn't know what to say
And so I wrote this list
I'm gonna start today
And I will learn to love others selflessly
Climb way up to the top of the tallest tree
Build a house in the woods for you and me
See the whole world
Just put it right in front of me
Have more faith in myself
And in everyone else
Fill a great big bookshelf
With all the books that I read
Learn to tell great stories
Let go of my worries
Learn to tap dance
And speak more clearly
Sail across the seven seas
Feel at home among the trees
Callus my hands skin my knees
And love myself completely
