coming off this old and rocky road

shaking off the dust and dropping my load

taking a hold of my life through it all

kicking off the webs i made and i won't fall

coming down this mountain of pain

sleet and snow and falling rain

grabbing on to life like no tomorrow

cast away the shadows and the sorrow

over the hill and under the star

it's a road i must travel

don't know how far

under the bridge or across the sea

counting the hours

what more can i see
