I wonder if I had a good wife

I wonder if I had a daughter

Reading stories while she's underneath the covers sayin' goodnight

I'm feeling shitty cus my past is shitty

I'm wondering do I miss the things I pity

Cus if I do then it's all over

All the work I did to get it all the work I did for closure

You would think I'm blessed

But every damn relationship I'm ready to confess

All of the mistakes I've made have caused me to regress

I'm in a state of shock cause all that's left in me is stress

I was just a little boy who never knew how to love

I met a girl at a party and she made me feel like the heaven's above

It went well for the first time

We were takin it at our own pace

And that was just fine, but after some time

We just fell out and it caused the love that we had to break

I was hurt sure, but the only option for us was that departure

To end on good terms

And attempt a friendship even though we miss each other

It's for the better

Move on with ourselves don't shed no tears

Everything that happened just do not matter
