The soundless flute awaited His breath.

Light takes form in prison

The first cry of Krishna is both

A human birth and a cosmic awakening.

In the hush before the dawn

A breath unknown begins to form.

Stars lean close the sky stands still

மௌனத்தில் ஒரு வாக்கு

தெய்வத்தின் சித்தம் நிறைவே.

From silence rose the song divine

The flute awaits its breath this time.
