Weathering and aged from the past

It helps the bad days to pass

Looking at this old photograph

We've all changed so much since then

Forget how long it has been

Count the years I think it is ten

Since I've had this photo in my hands

We never needed anybody from the outside

Tight knit and never ever wanted more than five

No matter all the obstacles we have to deal with

We always make it through, this is my ode to you

I've had that photo in a frame

I stop to stare throughout the day

Sits near the old window pane

Trying to keep it from decay

Head downstairs walk near the walls

Always greeted from one and all

The love I feel makes me recall

That aging picture down the hall

The pendulum of life always swings

Never know what time is gonna bring

I stop to wipe away the sting

Tears of happiness that photo brings
