మత్తయి సువార్త(Matthew) 6

6:1 మనుష్యులకు కనబడవలెనని వారియెదుట మీ నీతి కార్యము చేయకుండ జాగ్రత్తపడుడి; లేనియెడల పరలోకమందున్న మీ తండ్రియొద్ద మీరు ఫలము పొందరు.

6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

6:2 కావున నీవు ధర్మము చేయునప్పుడు, మనుష్యులవలన ఘనత నొందవలెనని, వేషధారులు సమాజమందిరముల లోను వీధులలోను చేయులాగున నీ ముందర బూర ఊదింప వద్దు; వారు తమ ఫలము పొందియున్నారని నిశ్చయముగా మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాను.

6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6:3 నీవైతే ధర్మము చేయునప్పుడు, నీ ధర్మము రహస్యముగానుండు నిమిత్తము నీ కుడిచెయ్యి చేయునది నీ యెడమచేతికి తెలియకయుండవలెను.

6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

6:4 అట్లయితే రహస్యమందు చూచు నీ తండ్రి నీకు ప్రతి ఫలమిచ్చును

6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

6:5 మరియు మీరు ప్రార్థనచేయునప్పుడు వేషధారుల వలె ఉండవద్దు; మనుష్యులకు కనబడవలెనని సమాజ మందిరములలోను వీధుల మూలలలోను నిలిచి ప్రార్థన చేయుట వారికిష్టము; వారు తమ ఫలము పొంది యున్నారని నిశ్చయముగా మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాను.

6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6:6 నీవు ప్రార్థన చేయునప్పుడు, నీ గదిలోనికి వెళ్లి తలుపువేసి, రహస్యమందున్న నీ తండ్రికి ప్రార్థనచేయుము; అప్పుడు రహస్యమందు చూచు నీ తండ్రి నీకు ప్రతి ఫలమిచ్చును.

6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

6:7 మరియు మీరు ప్రార్థన చేయునప్పుడు అన్యజనులవలె వ్యర్థమైన మాటలు వచింపవద్దు; విస్తరించి మాటలాడుట వలన తమ మనవి వినబడునని వారు తలంచుచున్నారు;

6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

6:8 మీరు వారివలె ఉండకుడి. మీరు మీ తండ్రిని అడుగక మునుపే మీకు అక్కరగా నున్నవేవో ఆయనకు తెలి యును

6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

6:9 కాబట్టి మీరీలాగు ప్రార్థనచేయుడి, పర లోకమందున్న మా తండ్రీ, నీ నామము పరిశుద్ధపరచబడు గాక,

6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

6:10 నీ రాజ్యము వచ్చుగాక, నీ చిత్తము పరలోకమందు నెరవేరుచున్నట్లు భూమియందును నెరవేరును గాక,

6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

6:11 మా అనుదినాహారము నేడు మాకు దయచేయుము.

6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

6:12 మా ఋణస్థులను మేము క్షమించియున్న ప్రకారము మా ఋణములు క్షమించుము.

6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

6:13 మమ్మును శోధనలోకి తేక దుష్టునినుండి1 మమ్మును తప్పించుము.

6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

6:14 మనుష్యుల అప రాధములను మీరు క్షమించినయెడల, మీ పరలోకపు తండ్రియు మీ అపరాధములను క్షమించును

6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

6:15 మీరు మనుష్యుల అపరాధములను క్షమింపక పోయినయెడల మీ తండ్రియు మీ అపరాధములను క్షమింపడు.

6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

6:16 మీరు ఉపవాసము చేయునప్పుడు వేషధారులవలె దుఃఖముఖులై యుండకుడి; తాము ఉపవాసము చేయు చున్నట్టు మనుష్యులకు కనబడవలెనని వారు తమ ముఖము లను వికారము చేసికొందురు; వారు తమ ఫలము పొంది యున్నారని నిశ్చయముగా మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాను.

6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6:17 ఉపవాసము చేయుచున్నట్టు మనుష్యులకు కనబడవలెనని కాక, రహస్యమందున్న నీ తండ్రికే కనబడవలెనని, నీవు ఉపవాసము చేయునప్పుడు నీ తల అంటుకొని, నీ ముఖము కడుగుకొనుము.

6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

6:18 అప్పుడు రహస్యమందు చూచుచున్న నీ తండ్రి నీకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చును.

6:18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

6:19 భూమిమీద మీకొరకు ధనమును కూర్చుకొనవద్దు; ఇక్కడ చిమ్మెటయు, తుప్పును తినివేయును, దొంగలు కన్నమువేసి దొంగిలెదరు.

6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

6:20 పరలోకమందు మీకొరకు ధనమును కూర్చుకొనుడి; అచ్చట చిమ్మెటయైనను, తుప్పై నను దాని తినివేయదు, దొంగలు కన్నమువేసి దొంగిలరు.

6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

6:21 నీ ధనమెక్కడ నుండునో అక్కడనే నీ హృదయము ఉండును.

6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

6:22 దేహమునకు దీపము కన్నే గనుక నీ కన్ను తేటగా ఉండినయెడల నీ దేహమంతయు వెలుగు మయమైయుండును.

6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

6:23 నీ కన్ను చెడినదైతే నీ దేహ మంతయు చీకటిమయమై యుండును; నీలోనున్న వెలుగు చీకటియై యుండిన యెడల ఆ చీకటి యెంతో గొప్పది.

6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

6:24 ఎవడును ఇద్దరు యజమానులకు దాసుడుగా నుండనేరడు; అతడు ఒకని ద్వేషించియొకని ప్రేమించును; లేదా యొకని పక్ష ముగానుండి యొకని తృణీకరించును. మీరు దేవునికిని సిరికిని దాసులుగా నుండనేరరు.

6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

6:25 అందువలన నేను మీతో చెప్పునదేమనగాఏమి తిందుమో యేమి త్రాగు దుమో అని మీ ప్రాణమును గూర్చియైనను, ఏమి ధరించుకొందుమో అని మీ దేహమును గూర్చియైనను చింతింపకుడి;

6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

6:26 ఆకాశపక్షులను చూడుడి; అవి విత్తవు కోయవు కొట్లలో కూర్చుకొనవు; అయినను మీ పరలోకపు తండ్రి వాటిని పోషించు చున్నాడు; మీరు వాటికంటె బహు శ్రేష్టులు కారా?

6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

6:27 మీలో నెవడు చింతించుటవలన తన యెత్తు మూరెడెక్కువ చేసికొనగలడు?

6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

6:28 వస్త్రములను గూర్చి మీరు చింతింప నేల? అడవిపువ్వులు ఏలాగు నెదుగుచున్నవో ఆలో చించుడి. అవి కష్టపడవు, ఒడకవు

6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

6:29 అయినను తన సమస్త వైభవముతో కూడిన సొలొమోను సహితము వీటిలో నొకదానివలెనైనను అలంకరింపబడలేదు.

6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

6:30 నేడుండి రేపు పొయిలో వేయబడు అడవి గడ్డిని దేవుడీలాగు అలంక రించినయెడల, అల్పవిశ్వాసులారా, మీకు మరి నిశ్చయ ముగా వస్త్రములు ధరింపజేయును గదా.

6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

6:31 కాబట్టి ఏమి తిందుమో యేమి త్రాగుదుమో యేమి ధరించు కొందుమో అని చింతింపకుడి; అన్యజనులు వీటన్నిటి విషయమై విచారింతురు.

6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

6:32 ఇవన్నియు మీకు కావలెనని మీ పరలోకపు తండ్రికి తెలియును.

6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

6:33 కాబట్టి మీరు ఆయన రాజ్యమును నీతిని మొదట వెదకుడి; అప్పు డవన్నియు మీకనుగ్రహింపబడును.

6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

6:34 రేపటినిగూర్చి చింతింపకుడి; రేపటి దినము దాని సంగతులనుగూర్చి చింతించును; ఏనాటికీడు ఆనాటికి చాలును.

6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
