I have fought the good fight, I've kept the faith
I have finished the race Wrapped up within your grace
Now there is in store for me the righteousness
The crown of righteousness, which the Lord awards me that day.
On that final day, I finished rain
On that final day What good looks like I don't know for sure
But behind heaven's door There won't be combat
Anymore, I'll dance in cooling never-ending rain
Washing away the stains So we can live forever
Ooh, ooh, ooh
What good looks like I don't know for sure, but
Behind heaven's door, there won't be fighting.
anymore i'll dance in crowded never-ending streets
My heart beats to the beat Here we can sing forever
Oh, oh
Oh, oh
Oh, oh
And if you feel like giving in too
Force and sin, well, Jesus is a mercy train.
And that really scarred unto your heart
So send a prayer and let his pouring love flow.
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh
Yeah, now it is written in the scriptures and they talk about a place, a place of peace and where we're going to celebrate it.
So much love and so much joy and everybody giving praise.
And all of this is possible because of God's grace, but I'm not there yet.
Right now I'm stuck on planet Earth, where nothing looks like heaven and this human race hurts.
The most common thing here is that we put ourselves first, like we the center of the universe.
But still we search, searching for a purpose, cause the way we're living hurts us.
And we wind up calling on a name I know you might have heard of.
He helps through the obstacles and life's many hurdles.
It's Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the shepherd of the herd.
He also talked about this place called heaven when his life is over.
But he talked about the faith in him because we can't afford it.
What's impossible for us is possible for Jehovah.
That's why he gave his life for you and paid the ticket for you.
Oh.
Oh.
