just pure darkness and evil

We focus on what we lost and lose some more
Fires in our mountains spread into our houses
and burn treasured memories of our long long past
Forgotten all about us and how we survived
We thrive infinitely for power that's how we survive

The valley of the shadow and death doesn't look so bad
compared to the cesspit we doomed ourselves in
The rich become richer
the poor are closer to death than they have ever been
It's a cold cold world
Starvation is crippling the kids all around the world
We cut out each other's tongues but we're all the same people
Enemies of the public are false symbols
Propaganda brainwahes us
and we're nothing but mindless drones
Kindness is a weakness
The mind should be focused on calculating what we gain and what we lose
One could say the system is failing
but as we have always demonstrated we are corrupted by nature
Fake idols and religion used as a business
Cash rules everything around us money's a drug
We earn more and continue to want more
Killing each other's conscience to earn more
If there is a god I would ask him what he wanted us to be when he made us
I would ask he fight for our salvation and defeat the evil around us
But our prayers unanswered and our minds still troubled are you watching god oh forgive us
